The real name of the character is Ben Tennyson, a 10 year-old boy who can transform into 10 different aliens, thus the title Ben The first episode was shown on December 27, The show had four seasons and a total of 52 episodes. The story started with Benjamin Kirby Tennyson as a 10 year-old boy who lives in Bellwood.
In school, he is an unpopular kid who is often bullied. He is naturally an immature and happy-go-lucky kid who does not take things seriously. His personality and childish behavior often gets him in trouble. Ben acquired his supernatural power when he went camping with his grandpa Max and cousin Gwen. He later on acquired more alien species to which he can transform into. The Omnitrix was made by Azmuth, a very intelligent Galvan who intended it for peace.
He thought that letting other creatures live as another species can promote understanding and unity within the universe.
It was later on revealed that the Omnitrix was intended for Max and that Xylene accidentally sent it to the forest where Ben found it. Due to the similarities in genetic composition, the Omnitrix thought that Ben was Max and attached itself on Ben.
Ben's super villain enemies include Kevin 11, Doctor Animo, and Vilgax- the evil alien who desires to have the Omnitrix and use it as a weapon for war. Due to the popularity of the series, Ben 10 Alien Force and Ben 10 Ultimate Alien were made to continue the story and adventures of Ben. He is a fifteen year-old teen who continues to use the Omnitrix, which will then be the Ultimatrix, to maintain peace in the universe and defeat evil forces.
