Everest college medical assistant program

The tests are really tough. It forces me to learn a lot. The instructors are great, too. I know that when I graduate, I will know what I am doing and I will have the knowledge to pass the certification exam. All of these negative reviews are ridiculous! You are missing a great opportunity to learn and have a better career. I highly recommend this school. At the moment I'm still without a job and huge debt. As I look for a job no ones hiring because Everests credentials aren't what employers are looking for.

So far Everests credentials come from "National Association for Health Professionals", but when I apply for a medical assistant job the companies ask for credentials that aren't from "National Association for Health Professionals. In all truthfulness I have paid down some of my debt but am with no medical assistant career two years later. Career services at Everest isn't helping at all. By the way if I haven't mentioned, I'm referring to one in Houston where I attended. Then in my second MOD they announced that they were closing the Vancouver campus and moving us to the TIgard campus since going to the TIgard campus it has been nothing but disorganized and stressful.

The staff refers to us as Vancouver students even though we have been attending for about 4 months now, they have different rules for us Vancouver student than the Tigard students. I feel as if our poor instructor is constantly having to change her teaching ways because administration wants us to do more book work than anything. It is all stuff we as MA's will never use. Please just don't waste your money. Its a big waste and wish I would have never applied at Everest.

Most computers not working missing mice. Bugs bugs bugs everytime you looked up. They accept the wrong students and by time you are finished some of you may need therapy. Why, who needs the verbal abuse from staff members and will you get upset they tell you, you are wrong and then they'll sit in offices and talk about you while you're in there not knowing you are. The place is not a happy place and this review is for change, not to hurt.

Students who are interested in clinical procedures should consider obtaining the CCMA certification. Medical assistants with either certification are paid the same regardless of their certification. Checking his air passage, the Everest medical assistant student began compressions and coached her friend on how and when to breathe into his lungs in the hopes he might regain consciousness.

Soon, there were a few gasps. Checking his pulse again, Lucarelli felt the signs of a faint heartbeat. She continued administering life-saving compressions until the paramedics arrived. What a feeling! Not every student will experience such a life-changing event. However, Lucarelli received industry-specific training at Everest College in Portland that prepared her to put her skills into rapid action.
