Sims 3 problems with moving house

I've tried to repair the sims as you said, and then I just tried to delete half of my custom content. It didn't work. I then tried running the sims without any CC and it didn't crash. But thanks, it was the custom content, so now I know. It hasn't been a problem before, since it's mostly just clothes and a little furniture, but yeah. Thaks again, my sims is now working. As for Aurora Skies - as this is an offical world it should still show in game.

Yes, I made it work, thank you again. Hi im having the same problem but i only have store brought content from the actually sims 3 store! Please help!! Sakofe - 11 years ago. Monte Vista Glitches - "Monte Vista", one of the later-introduced neighborhoods in "The Sims 3" online store, introduced a great deal of glitches in to my game. I can not play a game for very long in this neighborhood, and it seems that this was what started the obsessiveness of Error Code Perhaps the timing was merely coincidental, but I thought I should mention this observation and see if anyone else has had similar problems with this neighborhood.

Thank you for reading my different accounts of glitches within "The Sims 3". I would like to hear similar stories and see if anyone has any fixes for these errors. It would also be nice to hear the opinion of someone associated with EA, but there is a high probability that this post may be ignored. I apologize for not creating a separate question for each topic, but I thought that, since each of these are problems within the game, they could be grouped together in order to conserve space and time.

I have previously posted a question about Error Code 12, but I did not receive a satisfactory answer and solution so I decided to add a bit more information on the topic.

Once again, thank you for your time. June - last edited June Use this to fix your game first before adding those mods back.

Then we can narrow it down to what to do next. I didn't patch my game until these mods were updated so that they wouldn't conflict with the newest patch. I've deleted everything before including my old saves and saved sims and started from the ground up prior to posting this.

I reinstalled all of my store content and played for a while with no mods nor CC. Everything ran smoothly for a little while, but pretty soon, these errors began returning one by one. I suppose I could retry this method, but I have a feeling I'll get the same results Perhaps I'll try this once more in the morning? Thank you for showing me this.

August Hello, unfortunately I can only add to your list of problems with the Monte Vista and the Dragon Valley.. I recently bought both from the EA site and I'm experiencing problems with them that I never had before I have almost all expansion packs with the last being the University Life.

Monte Vista : the sims portraits disappear either as soon as one adopts a pet or after the first save so the game is impossible to play after that. I tried it couple of times with different families - one moved to the town and then couple of new games with local families - always the same result. Charging the people so much money for a town that does not support pets is unacceptable.

Dragon Valley : i had twice the case that the game gets very very slow, almost like being put on pause - I can click and give orders, the game itself reacts, but the time in the game doesn't change as it should, the sims move in very slow motion one move every couple of real time minutes Once in a while the game will jump the clock straight to the next day, but it will then again stay in this very slow pace. I get notifications that my sims job performance is dropping, because they are skipping work, but I cannot do anything to send them to work, until they exit their current room a whole sim day already passed.

I would like to clarify, that I don't have any mods, just the pure game content from EA. It is not hardware issue also - my PC is more than capable to cover the game demands. As a working person I don't have much time to play, all the problems that I described here I had in a matter of hours so I'm really disappointed that such major issues were introduced into the game. I would appreciate to know how many other people experience the same problems and of course if there is a solution in sight for them.

Thank you for sharing your different experiences with me. I hope that EA will soon acknowledge their mistakes, though I highly doubt this. They seem to be primarily worried about how many games they can produce and how fast they can release them to the public, but couldn't care less about whether they function properly or not.

I feel as if a great deal of us simmers have been cheated out of our money for faulty products. I would almost go so far as to say that this whole enterprise is a scam.

Have you seen their help section? They blame nearly all of the problems we have with this game on our use of CC and our computers. Are they really that unwilling to admit that they make mistakes? Perhaps it would be excusable if there were only a few minor glitches in the game, but this is downright pathetic.

I apologize for not posting the results of my attempts to purge my game of errors and glitches prior to this.

I deleted all of my saves, saved sims, and mods, but still, I receive "error code 12" after performing the simplest of tasks in game. I do not have the time to reinstall each of my expansion packs one by one, but if I am ever able to do so, I shall try. I find it ridiculous what I must go through in order to make my game function as it should have in the first place.

I definitely will not be purchasing " the Sims 4". That I can assure you. Thank you for your time, though. It is kind of you to try and help simmers overcome these problems caused by EA.

I have the same probme went through all the customer service channels and they said they would talk to the higher ups about contacting me back because i want a refund since i cant play the game on my computer. I meet the requirments for the game its just that i have a mac computer and there game wont run on my mac.

Im a customer thats been with them for years spent alot of money on there games and they treat me like crap. My question is EA when are you going to wake up and realize you are pusing away you customers and hurting your sales.?

Stray animals can also be adopted. Like normal Sims, both the inviting Sim and the animal must have a good relationship with each other before the option to adopt becomes available. Sims that move into a household may bring some money from their old household along with them. Players should note that townies who are moved into a household will have their memories wiped and replaced with a standard CAS history. Households are moved into a residential lot from the family bin , lots and houses bin , Manage Worlds [ TS4 ] or the gallery , [ TS4 ] making it available for play.

A household can be moved into any unoccupied residential lot, provided that they are able to afford it. Starting with The Sims 2: University , Sims in the family bin can be moved into occupied lots, thus merging the two households.

This feature allows young adults going into college to join an existing non-Greek household, and allows graduates to do things such as rejoin their families or form households with friends from college.

A single Sim in The Sims can only move out of his or her current household by being asked to move in by a Sim in another. However, some custom content for The Sims allowed players to work around these limits.

In The Sims for console , the player's Sim will automatically move out of their current house when all goals for the current house are completed. In The Sims: Bustin' Out for console , the player can move their Sim out of their current house by using the move out interaction on their current vehicle.

Their spouse and children will move with the Sim but will not ride the vehicle with them; instead, they will appear near the mailbox at the new home. If there is a second player present, the second player will ride in the vehicle with the first player when moving out. In The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 , single Sims are moved out by using "Find Own Place" from the newspaper or computer or by being asked to move in with a Sim in another household. They can bring other Sims from their current household with them in the process, thus splitting the household or moving the entire household out.

Teens will move out when they go to college.
